Jamie Stevens

”Jamie Stevens is originally from Phoenix, Arizona and after obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting from Arizona State University, Jamie worked at various jobs from modeling to wedding planning.

Modeling and a desire for artistic expression sparked a fire of interest in makeup and fashion styling, which Jamie fanned by practicing her creativity on her family and friends.

To fulfill her dream of becoming a professional makeup artist, Jamie moved to Los Angeles, California to attend the prestigious MKC Beauty Academy of Hollywood and be taught by Margaret Kimura and her team of industry experts.

Having received a college degree, intensive makeup training at MKC, and the experience of being a former model herself Jamie was prepared with a comprehensive understanding of the makeup and Entertainment Indutries and skilled with the talent of a Master Makeup Artist. With this knowledge and talent Jamie launched her Makeup Artistry Business in 2007.

After only one year Jamie's work experience includes freelancing for Shu Uemura, Artistic Director (Madonna's Make-up Artist), Gina Brooke and an upcoming photo shoot for Ken Paves' hair products, which will feature Jessica Simpson, in addition to steady work in commercials, photos shoots and weddings

Today Jamie enjoys a career that enables her to help others to look and feel their best, while allowing her to utilize her artistic talents and follow her dream.

Many of our graduates also have opportunities to work with, assist and intern with working instructors, photographers and agency level photo shoot models
